Q&A with Alum & Newly Expanded Engineering Degree Program Scholarships Offered”

The UW Wausau Campus Foundation has committed $15,000 in new scholarships for local students who pursue a newly expanded engineering degree program. UW-Stevens Point at Wausau and UW-Platteville are expanding an existing engineering degree partnership to bring additional opportunities to students in the Wausau area.

Celebrating the 100 Extraordinary Women Campaign

Participation and fundraising goals exceeded. Women’s lives changed for the better. By any measure, the 5-year-long 100 Extraordinary Women Campaign has been an unqualified success. With the initial goals of attracting at least 100 women to donate $1000 each for scholarships for deserving women UW-Stevens Point at Wausau students, the program eventually ballooned to a total of $125,000 over five years. Award-Winning Faculty Pens Award-Winning Novel

Although we are best known for student scholarships, the UW Wausau Campus Foundation also supports campus faculty with research and development grants. For example, Associate English Professor Jill Stukenberg is a recent recipient of the annual Distinguished Faculty Society (DFS) award and an additional summer stipend, which has helped her achieve a goal to write and soon publish a prize-winning novel.
