Lada Xiong-Vang

The UW Wausau Campus Foundation has been a proud supporter of Wausau Campus students participating in UW-Stevens Point’s new Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. In the past two academic years, plus the current year, our foundation has provided a total of $27,000 in scholarship support divided among several local MBA students.

Lada Xiong-Vang is among the first 13 Wausau Campus students to graduate from the MBA program. Lada works as a business development manager for the Environments division of The Samuels Group in Wausau. She recently joined the board of directors of the UW Wausau Campus Foundation.

According to Lada: “The UWSP MBA program provided much opportunity for me as a full-time working professional and busy family mom with two little ones. I would not have had time to travel for a degree.  The MBA program is threading the Central Wisconsin region together through the relationships cultivated along with strong content that has challenged community members to be better versions of themselves as individuals and as a collective. This program is elevating Marathon County into the future to compete side-by-side and thrive alongside neighboring ecosystems at a macro level.”
