Retired Ford Motor Company senior executive Lee Miskowski has been an advocate for the UW campus in Wausau for 70 years. And because of his intense dedication to UW, he has recently included UW Wausau Campus Foundation in his legacy giving plan. "An estate planning legacy gift is a great way to perpetuate my commitment while also being very fulfilling," Miskowski said.

The 100 Extraordinary Women scholarship recognizes seven deserving, talented and extraordinary women. This is our fourth of five years of awarding $25,000 to support women pursuing a liberal arts education starting at UWSP at Wausau campus. Of this year's seven scholarship recipients, three are first-generation college students in their families. The scholarship recipients are Bonnie Blaise, Lydia Gaulke, Tanya Lybert, Victoria Reuter, Sierra Smith, Aerial Thao and Samantha Trevino. In 2018, 125 area women committed to funding new "100 Extraordinary Women" scholarships for seven women students each year through the UW Wausau Campus Foundation. Read More
Lada Xiong-Vang is among the first 13 UW Wausau Campus Foundation students to graduate from the MBA program. Lada works as a business development manager for the Environments division of The Samuels Group in Wausau. The UW Wausau Campus Foundation has been a proud supporter of Wausau Campus students participating in UW-Stevens Point's new Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. "This program is elevating Marathon County into the future to compete side-by-side and thrive alongside neighboring ecosystems at a macro level," Xiong-Vang said.
